1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and Cluck & Road covering your use of campaignpulselynx.net and everything published on it. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We may update these terms, and the date above will change when we do.

2. What this site is

Cluck & Road is an informational and entertainment website. It publishes editorial content about domestic chickens and about two free casual arcade games, Chicken Road and Chicken Road 2. Access is free and no account is required.

3. The games are entertainment only

This clause matters, so it is stated in full. Chicken Road and Chicken Road 2 are casual skill-based arcade games. They contain:

  • no gambling, betting or wagering of any kind;
  • no deposits, withdrawals, balances or payment processing;
  • no cash prizes, physical prizes or rewards of monetary value;
  • no purchasable currency, loot boxes or in-app purchases.

Score multipliers, streaks and stars are score-keeping mechanics. They exist only inside the game, have no monetary value, cannot be bought, sold, traded, redeemed or exchanged for anything, and confer no legal rights. Any leaderboard position is a record of play and nothing more.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law, or use the site to harass, defraud or impersonate anyone;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or any connected system;
  • interfere with the site's operation, including denial-of-service attempts and automated scraping at a rate that degrades service for others;
  • circumvent, disable or tamper with security features, or with the cookie consent mechanism;
  • manipulate game scores or leaderboards through modified clients, scripts or exploits;
  • reproduce substantial portions of our content commercially without written permission.

5. Intellectual property

The text, layout, illustrations, photographs, game artwork, code and the Cluck & Road name are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may read, link to and share our pages freely, and you may quote short extracts for review, comment, teaching or news reporting provided you credit Cluck & Road and link to the original page.

You may not republish articles in full, sell our content, present it as your own, or use our imagery to train commercial machine learning models without written permission.

6. Accuracy of information

We research carefully and cite published work, but the site is provided for general information. Science moves and we may be behind it. Nothing here is veterinary, medical, legal or financial advice. If a bird is unwell, consult a qualified veterinarian rather than a website.

7. Third-party links

Some pages link to external sites and resources. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following an external link is at your own discretion.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the site up but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site, including individual game features, at any time and without notice.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, in which case the above applies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our privacy policy and cookie policy, which are incorporated into these terms by reference.

12. Severability and governing law

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you enjoy in your country of residence.
