Privacy policy
This policy explains what campaignpulselynx.net collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to make us stop.

1. Who we are
Cluck & Road ("we", "us") operates the website at campaignpulselynx.net. For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation we are the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What we collect
We collect three categories of data, and no more than we need.
Information you give us
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address, and the date you subscribed.
- Contact form and email: your name, email address, chosen subject and the contents of your message.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, requested URL, referring URL and timestamp. These are generated by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics and advertising: if and only if you accept optional cookies, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads receive pseudonymous identifiers along with pages viewed, approximate location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and which of our adverts or links brought you here.

If you are in California, "legitimate interests" has no direct equivalent. Your rights under the CCPA and CPRA are described in section 8.
4. Advertising and analytics in detail
We use two Google products. Google Analytics 4 tells us which articles get read. Google Ads lets us advertise this site elsewhere on the web and measure which of those adverts led to a visit, a newsletter sign-up or a click on one of our game sections.
Both are loaded through the Google tag with
Google Consent Mode v2. All four consent signals
(ad_storage, ad_user_data,
ad_personalization and analytics_storage) default
to denied. Until you press "Accept all", Google receives no cookies
and no advertising identifiers from your visit. If you press "Essential
only", they stay denied permanently on this browser.
When you do consent, Google acts as an independent controller for the data it receives. Their handling is governed by the Google Privacy Policy, and you can control ad personalisation across all sites at My Ad Center.
We do not sell your personal data, we do not run data brokerage, and we do not combine advertising identifiers with your newsletter email address.
5. Who else sees your data
- Our hosting provider, which processes server logs on our behalf.
- Google LLC and Google Ireland Limited, for analytics and advertising measurement, only with your consent. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Our email delivery provider, which stores newsletter addresses and sends the messages.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose something.
That is the complete list. We add nobody else without updating this page.
6. How long we keep things
- Server logs: up to 30 days, then deleted.
- Contact messages: up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
- Newsletter addresses: until you unsubscribe, which you can do from the footer of any issue.
- Analytics data: retained by Google for 14 months by default.
7. Your rights in the UK and EU
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing consent for cookies takes one click on cookie settings.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@campaignpulselynx.net. We respond within 30 days and we do not charge for it. If you are unsatisfied you may complain to your national data protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Your rights in California
Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA you may request to know what personal information we have collected, request its deletion, request correction, and opt out of any "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Choosing "Essential only" in our cookie banner is a valid opt-out, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser. We do not sell personal information and we do not knowingly process the data of anyone under 16 for advertising purposes.
9. Children
This site is family friendly but it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to the newsletter list and the inbox is limited to the people who need it and protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so we keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes that require your consent will be announced with a fresh consent prompt rather than quietly.
