The short version

Before you choose, this site stores exactly one thing: a record of the fact that you have not chosen yet. No analytics cookies and no advertising cookies are written until you press "Accept all". If you press "Essential only", none are ever written on that browser.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise the browser on a later request. Local storage does a similar job with a slightly different mechanism. This policy covers both, plus anything else stored on your device by this site.

Strictly necessary

These cannot be switched off because the site cannot function correctly without them. They are used only for the purpose described and are never shared.

Advertising, optional

Set only after you accept. These let us measure whether an advert we paid for actually brought someone to the site, and let Google avoid showing you the same advert repeatedly.

How consent is enforced technically

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. On every page load, before the Google tag is allowed to do anything, the following defaults are declared:

ad_storage: denied
ad_user_data: denied
ad_personalization: denied
analytics_storage: denied

Accepting sends a consent update that flips all four to granted. Declining leaves them denied and records that decision, so the tag continues to run in a cookieless mode that reports nothing identifying. Either way, the decision is yours and it is respected before any tracking storage is created.
